Holland Canada/ New England Trip Review - Day 0 - Saturday - Montreal

7:00am
We started our day early at 7am.  We rented a minivan to drive from Toronto to Montreal.  Our rental was a brand new spacious Town and Country, and had only 32km on it when we picked it up!  An extremely well designed minivan, I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a minivan to consider the Town & Country.

11:00am
Stopped at Brockville KFC.  Newphew wanted fried chicken.  We arrived at 11am and waited by the door like eager little kids until the door unlocked at around 11:05am (hmmm they're late in opening!).  The 7 of us devoured 20 pieces of chicken.  So much bad fatty food, the gluttony has started!

2:00pm
Arrived at the Montreal dock terminal.  Hubby went to return the rental car while I waited for him. Was onboard the ship by 3pm.

5:15pm
We opted for the early dining option, which really was early.  Dinner was decent and well portioned.
  • French Onion soup
  • Salmon curry entree - recommended
  • Eggplant Parm - recommended
  • Creme brulee

8:00pm
Took nephew for a swim at the swimming pool.  Got to test out my new GoPro underwater!

10:30pm
Late night snack at Lido Buffet.  It was … bad.  Pasta was too oily and the other options were BLAH.  Lots of off-duty staff dining there as well, made me feel like I'm intruding their R&R time...

Midnight
Night night!

French Onion Soup

Curry Salmon - recommended

Eggplant Parm - recommended

Creme Brûlée
