Perfect! It is located within walking distance to Old Montreal, as well as connected underground to the train Central Station.Hotel
To be honest, I wasn't overly thrilled by the hotel exterior. It looked old and gave a hospital vibe. The inside, most likely due to continual maintenance and renovation, was beautiful. Our visit was during the christmas holidays, so there were many bright Christmas trees to entertain guests! |

Rooms
Given that this is a somewhat older hotel, the rooms were decent and comfortable. We were a party of 4, and requested for connecting rooms, which is another pro for the hotel. |

All in all, the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel offers a comfortable stay. I'm not sure if I would stay here again though, as the rates are fairly high, and there are newer and better priced hotels in Montreal.
